Data Deletion

1. Your Right to Deletion
You can ask us to delete the personal information SportsClippers holds about you at any time, including any data we received from a social platform you connected (such as Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, or YouTube). This page explains how.
2. Delete From Your Account
If you have a SportsClippers account, sign in and go to Settings in your dashboard, then choose to delete your account. This removes your profile, uploaded content, and the personal information associated with your account, subject to the limited retention described below.
3. Delete Connected-Platform Data
If you connected a social account, you can disconnect it at any time from the Publish screen — this immediately deletes the access credentials that platform issued to us. You may also remove our app from the platform's own settings (for Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites). To have all data we obtained through that platform erased, use the email request below and include the platform name.
4. Request by Email
Email plunkshot@clasports.com from the address on your account with the subject "Data Deletion Request." Tell us your username and which data to delete (your whole account, or data from a specific connected platform). We may ask one question to verify it's really you before we proceed.
5. What We Delete
Your profile and account information, uploaded clips, photos, captions and their metadata, notification preferences, and any access credentials for connected platforms. Once deleted, this information cannot be recovered.
6. What We May Retain
We may keep a limited set of records where the law requires it — for example, transaction and payout records needed for tax and accounting, and information necessary to resolve disputes or prevent abuse. These records are retained only as long as required and are not used for any other purpose.
7. Timeframe
Account deletions made from your dashboard take effect immediately. Email requests are completed within 30 days, and we will confirm by email when your data has been deleted.
